
Santa Clara, Calif. - The Solano men's tennis team swept competition at Mission, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon to open conference competition.
Sophomores Connor Ard and Jackson DeVries led things off by winning their doubles match, 8-1, before sophomore Huntor Bradac and freshman Eli Miranda cruised to a 8-0 win. As the top singles seed, Bradac did not let an opponent win a set, winning 6-0, 6-0. Ard was close behind with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Sophomore Arshbir Brar and freshmen James Pullin and Kyle Murphy followed suit with solid wins over their respective opponents.
Solano (4-1, 1-0) remains on the road, heading to Reedley next on Friday, Feb. 25 for a 1 p.m. start.
