
Women's Beach Volleyball earned a split in Gilroy with matches against visting San Joaquin Delta and host Gilroy. The Cougars opened up against the Mustangs, who blanked Gavilan, 5-0, in the opener, while the Cougars made their way North from SLO. The Cougars did not fare much better than the host Rams as the Delta earned another sweep, 5-0. The Cougars salvaged the day by beating Gavilan in the nightcap, 5-0. The Cougars 4-4 on the season and are 19-21 in their overall matches.
The Sand Spikers shall head South this week for a pair of non-conference matches in Torrance. The Cougars are set to play both Mt San Antonio and host El Camino (11 AM) on the Warriors campus courts (Noon).
