FREMONT, CA - Ohlone College Men's Basketball beat De Anza College on Sophomore Night to finish the regular season and clinch a playoff berth in the CCCAA State Championships. Ohlone had one of its best offensive games of the season led by a group of veteran sophomores. Amos Hodgson led the offensive attack with 27 points and also had 4 steals. Micheal Fastion had 18 points, 3 steals and 4 blocks. Wesley Burns had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Andrej Kuljic with one of his best games of the season had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Following the match, the CCCAA announced the Northern Regional bracket for the CCCAA State Championship. Ohlone College was seeded 17th by the committee, but was moved to the 20th seed due to CCCAA rules preventing two teams from the same conference to meet each other in the first round of playoffs. The Renegades face off against the 13th seed Contra Costa College on Wednesday, February 26.
