Ohlone closes regular season with 21-11 rout of CCSF

FREMONT – Although the 2024 season started slowly, the Ohlone College women's water polo team is starting to play up to its potential. After opening with an 0-6 record, the Renegades have won back-to-back games, including Friday's 21-11 Coast Conference win over visiting City College of San Francisco.
The contest wrapped up the regular season for Ohlone. The Renegades will now prepare for the Coast Conference Championships that get underway next Friday (Nov. 8) at College of Marin.
Teagan Rees led Ohlone with 6 goals in the victory over CCSF. Julie Marshall had 5 goals and 4 assists while Negaah Pourhamzeh added 4 goals, 4 assists, and 6 steals.
The Renegades also got 3 goals from Brooklyn Sisk, a pair of goals from Karen Di Dio, and Molly Canales scored once, had 6 steals, and 4 assists.
Goalie Maia Gomes Medeiros had 11 saves for the win.
