
Bulldogs roll to fifth straight win with rout at Ohlone
FREMONT – Five Bulldogs scored in double figures to help lead the College of San Mateo women's basketball team to a huge 92-32 Coast Conference North Division victory at Ohlone College on Wednesday.
CSM extended its winning streak to five games and currently sits on top of the Coast North standings at 3-0. The Bulldogs improved to 13-7 overall.
San Mateo was up 41-13 at halftime and outscored Ohlone 51-19 over the final two quarters.
Simone Murray led CSM with 20 points. She had a solid all-around game with 7 steals, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Chozen Horn-Young scored 18 points, Bree Hodge added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals while Trish Reyes had 12 points and 8 boards. Heaven Payton earned a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bulldogs will look to keep the momentum going next Wednesday (Jan. 22) when they host Chabot College in a 5 p.m. Coast Conference North Division game.
