Oroville, CA – August 28, 2024 – In an exhilarating clash of volleyball prowess, Ohlone College emerged victorious over Butte College in a five-set marathon held today at Butte College. The match, which captivated fans with its intense back-and-forth action, concluded with Ohlone securing the win with a final score of 3 sets to 2.
The match began with Butte College taking an early lead, winning set 1 with a score of 25-16. Ohlone rebounded back in sets 2 and 3, triumphing 25-23 in both sets. Set 4 culminated with a #3 Koya Porter kill on the left side allowing the Roadrunners to take set 4, 25-23. The deciding fifth set saw Ohlone College pull ahead decisively, closing out the match with a 15-7 win.
