Two goals from Alexis Rincon and three assists from Rodolfo Castro lifted the West Valley men's soccer team to a 3-0 blanking of Highway 17 derby Cabrillo Tuesday at Dick Schwendinger Field. The Vikings (11-2-1, 7-1-0 Coast-South) and the Seahawks (2-8-4, 2-6-1) were scoreless until the 40th minute, when Rincon took a Castro feed home. Rincon and Castro would connect again at 67' and then Castro would find Leo Fernandez two minutes later for his state-high 15th assist to close out the scoring. GK Yannick Lamers turned away four Cabrillo shots to earn the clean sheet. The Vikings host a talented Skyline side (7-4-1, 4-2-1) Friday (10/26) at 4:00pm.
