While Mapuhola Sekona once again paced the offense with 18 kills, the West Valley volleyball team benefitted from the play of her teammates in a 3-1 win over City College of San Francisco Friday in Saratoga. The Vikings (9-7, 2-2 Coast-North) got solid matches from Shannon Greene (8 kills, 4 blocks), Jenna Gomes (9 kills, 2 blocks), Kaylin Henderson (7 kills, 4 blocks, 2 service aces), Emily Mahoney (7 kills, 3 blocks), and Hannah Reynoso (6 service aces). West Valley hosts Monterey Peninsula (6-4, 2-3) Wednesday (10/17) at 6:30pm. A team poster signing will take place following the match.
