CHABOT WOMEN SHUT OUT SKYLINE

A trio of Gladiators scored goals and Abigail Burnell made five saves as the Chabot women's soccer team opened Coast-South play with a convincing 3-0 win over visiting Skyline on Oct. 1.

Brianna Torres gave Chabot a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute assisted by Karollyn Zepeda Siliezar. Fedra Sanchez doubled the advantage in the 64th minute assisted by Adriana Lopez, and Adriana Ulmildad rounded out the scoring in the 88th minute.

With Burnell commanding the penalty area, the Chabot back line gave a stout effort in the shutout.
